Who's Ready for Reassurance & Better Sleep For Their Little Angels ?

Yep I mentioned it. The S word. Sleep.  A Word that can sometimes sting a little in your motherhood journey. As a mama of 3 who's had littles who have NEVER slept. I get it. Ive tried most things on the market and when it comes to baby monitors. I am picky. All my girls have had colic, reflux, allergies and cranial issues. Which all impacted our sleep. So when I saw Angelcare was bringing out a new Baby Movement Monitor with Video & Sound,I wanted to check it out.

With so many different monitors to choose from, I wanted to opt for a well-known trusted brand. By choosing Angelcare, it gave me instant peace-of-mind.because they have over 25 years of supporting parents, which of course puts a mama at ease. This monitor is also Medically Certified, which means it’s passed so many safety tests. When choosing a monitor, it's good to look out for a medical device conformity mark, (CE or UKCA). I didn't know to look our for a medical certified monitor when i was a first time mum, and I wish i did! So it is deffo something we look out for now.

There are a few things that caught my eye with this innovative monitor, but some of my fave functions were:

  • Medically approved movement monitoring
  • Nightlight and temperature gage
  • Two - way - talk back mode
  • A rang of 150 metres no wifi needed so its a secure network!
  • Non contact wireless sensor pad that goes under the whole mattress.

I think when choosing a monitor, there can be a lot to choose from and honestly as a parent there can be a lot of overwhelm at times, even a third time mama can feel like that.  But because it’s a movement monitor, the sensor pad is under the mattress and so it provides ‘just enough monitoring’ to give me that needed peace of mind without ‘over monitoring’ which would stress me out!

I also love that they’ve brought back their iconic Angel design – it looks so cute in the nursery!  It can play up to four different lullabies, (we’ve yet to agree on a favourite) and in nightlight mode, it also casts a comforting reassuring glow over the room too.

When all is quiet(ish)  in the house and all the girls are sleeping it’s great to have the parent unit on hand to keep an eye! It’s so simple to use, really easy to see, thanks to its large colour screen and for the times the lullabies don’t keep her settled, all I need to do is switch it to talk mode, she can hear my voice and I can sing my own tune too! Her fave is the classic " go to sleep"
( I also may or may not have told the older girls that it's a Father Christmas Cam when they asked why we have a new one! But that story is for another day. haha.
